Clary sage is a biennial herb, native to the Mediterranean and cultivated in the south of France for perfumery.
Used here both in the form of oil and absolute, it is a fresh and aromatic vegetal note with a characteristic fruity and herbaceous brightness. Clary sage contains linalyl acetate of natural origin, which gives it a sparkling and airy freshness, accompanied by floral nuances reminiscent of flowering elderflowers. It is complex but not sweet, and balances herbaceous, floral and delicately musky facets.
Together, Iso E Super and clary sage create a delicately intense contrast: the enveloping and transparent warmth of Iso E Super contrasts with the aromatic and lively freshness of clary sage. The fragrance opens with a clean and herbaceous brightness, delicately floral and fruity notes, and then stabilizes on the soft and woody presence of Molecule 01, which accompanies the clary sage to the bottom.
